Oval Back Windsor
Chair Plans The oval back chair was traditionally used as a side chair. This chair includes a tail piece which was an option with chairmakers of the 18th century. These bracing spindles make the chair much stronger by reinforcing the bow against stress loads. 36 3/4" high, 15" wide, 21" deep. Plan includes large scaled and measured drawings, a list of materials, and some instruction. We consider this plan and the project to be at the advanced level. They sure do look sharp.
