Lawyer's (Barrister) Bookcase Woodworking Plans Make these glass door bookcases to complete your home office. Doors pivot, swing up and slide in above the top of the books. Designed to be stackable in the same manner as 19th Century originals, they can be stacked 5 or more high and can be used side by side, with no gap between, for an attractive library wall system. Two sizes are provided for by the plans. 33-1/2" high, as shown, they are 35" long and 14-3/8" deep. The shorter unit (shown on top) will accept 10" high books, while the larger unit (bottom) will take books up to 12" high. See also the Stackable File Cabinet Plan #197.
